Afterthought Heel Socks by Alyssa - June 1 & 15

In this TWO PART class, Alyssa will teach the afterthought heel sock knitting method from cast on to bind off. 

SATURDAY MORNINGS

June 1 & 15

10:30 to 12 pm each day

$90 p/p - limited to 5 participants

This class is great for looking to make their first sock, or those wanting to try a new heel technique.

In the first session you will learn Judy's Magic Cast on as well as increasing for your toe & knitting the sock tube.

Second session includes getting your perfect heel placement, picking up your stitches & yes … CUTTING YOUR KNITTING.

This is an excellent first sock class; however, it is not for the brand new knitter.  If you have questions about your skill level, please reach out to any of the JuJu Knits team. 

SUPPLIES*

• 2.25 mm or 2.5 mm needle with a 32 inch cord 
• 100 grams of fingering weight sock yarn (400 yards or more per skein)
• Darning needle 
• Embroidery scissors or other small sharp yarn snips 
• Measuring Tape
• Locking stitch markers

• Judy’s magic cast-on
• Picking up stitches

*Participants are welcome to use stash supplies; however, all class members get 10% off yarn and notions for class.
