Create a great showpiece for your winter wardrobe with this NEW class by Kristina Kerchief.

Saturday, August 5

1-2:30 p.m.

- Limited to 5 participants

- $65 per person

SKILLS COVERED

- Adding beads to knit and purl stitches

- Characteristics to look for in patterns you want to add beads to that aren’t beaded

SUPPLIES* NEEDED

- Pattern "The Christina Hat" by Cori Eichelberger

   Can be purchased from Juju knits or directly from ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/christina-hat-3

- 1 skein of plied DK weight yarn

- Optional 1 skein of mohair if you would like to hold the yarn double throughout the hat

- Size 8mm beads (50-60 quantity)

- Size US4 needles in DPN or circular -- whatever you are comfortable using to knit hats or size needles needed to obtain gauge

- Tape measure

- Stitch marker for beginning of round

*Participants are welcome to use stash supplies; however, all class members get 10% off yarn and notions for class.

HOMEWORK 

- Before class, decide if you would like the beanie version or the brimmed version of the hat and cast on your preferred hat size. 

- Additionally, cast on & knit rows 1-5 of the pattern before coming to class.
