Socks with Afterthought Heel by Alyssa - August 13 & 27

In this TWO PART class, Alyssa will teach the afterthought heel sock knitting method from cast on to bind off.

This class is great for those making to look their first sock, or those looking to try a new heel technique. In the first session you will learn Judy's Magic Cast on as well as increasing for your toe & knitting the sock tube. Second session includes getting your perfect heel placement, picking up your stitches & yes … CUTTING YOUR KNITTING.

This is an excellent first sock class; however, it is not for the brand new knitter.  If you have questions about your skill level, please reach out to any of the JuJu Knits team. 

SUPPLIES*

• 2.25 mm or 2.5 mm needle with a 32 inch cord 
• 100 grams of fingering weight sock yarn (400 yards or more per skein)
• Darning needle 
• Embroidery scissors or other small sharp yarn snips
• Measuring Tape
• Locking stich markers
