Experience Level - Intermediate/Advanced 

Picking up stitches in pattern can be quite the challenge, backing out when the stitches change places, or discovering where you are so you can pick up the pattern and go forward again are all much more advanced. We will start with basic 

texture, move on into cables, lace and end with brioche. You do not need to be an expert to attempt 

this, but this is one of the skills you will need to get to that expert level.

SKILLS NEEDED

- Pick up a dropped stitch in stockinette 

- Back up one stitch at a time in stockinette

- Rip back and get their work back on the needles

SKILLS LEARNED

Correcting common mistakes in:

- texture (knit purl combo)

- lace

- cables 

- brioche

MATERIALS* NEEDED

- Odd amounts of worsted weight yarn, scraps are fine, to make 4 swatches.

- US #8 (5.0mm) needles, any type 

- US #5 (3.75mm) needles, any type 

- Locking Stitch Markers

- Crochet Hook size G
